Crows Toes ValenCrows 2015 Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I don't know about you guys, but I have been waiting, ever so patiently, for a new collection from Crows Toes and now we have one, and I could not be happier. These five polishes are a part of her ValenCrows 2015 Collection and are a variety of colors and finishes. There is not a definite release date as of yet but I know that Llarowe will be releasing them soon and that other Crows Toes distributors will also be getting their stock shortly. Keep an eye out on Crows Toes' and Llarowe's Facebook pages to see specific release info.

Crows Toes My Knight in Shining Armour Rusted
Two coats
Antiqued bronze/copper metallic with gold micro-flake shimmer and pink sparks.
Because even the best of Knights has their rusty moments. A lovely pale metallic with heavy shimmer is always a nice polish to have in your collection. This is a bit thick in it's application so thin coats are recommended.

Crows Toes The Terminal Engagement
Two coats
Slate blue with heavy copper shimmer
I love to see this combination of colors together. And the shimmer is not shy, even in low light you can see it within the blue and in direct light, it is loud and proud! Not too thick or thin formula wise.

Crows Toes Hooker at Heart
Three coats, no topcoat
Neon pink texture with silver holo glitter
A smack-you-in-the-face-bright-and-bold polish for sure! I don't own a lot of texture polishes, it's not a finish I gravitate toward. But a neon texture? YES PLEASE. So flipping bright, it freaked out my camera. And for those who still can't be tempted by the texture finish, a layer (or two) of topcoat will fix that for you, leaving you still with a bright neon pink. The formula is on the thin side (despite the texture effect), so you three coats is probably best for full color coverage and the dry time is good, I think I waited about 10 minutes before taking this photo.

(With Topcoat)

Crows Toes Hurt Me Once, and I'll Kill You Twice
Three coats
Blood red jelly/creme
A duo polish accompanied with Sweet as Sugar, Cold as Ice...
So very squishy and shiny and RED. Like the bright blood red of a fresh cut...well you get the idea. Despite that reference, a beautiful color and a requirement for any red polish lovers. Very nice application as well.

Layered over Hurt Me Once, and I'll Kill You Twice
Blue iridescent and holo glitter topper
A duo polish accompanied with Hurt Me Once, and I'll Kill You Twice
If you have the previously released Elevation Polish & Crows Toes Too F*%#ing Hot & Too F*%#ing Cold Duo, then this polish is not entirely new. I always loved that original Crows Toes Too F*%#ing Cold, so I was happy to see a newer version of it. It can be layered over a ton of other colors but it especially looks amazing over the Hurt Me Once (which is a brighter, non-shimmer version of Too F*%#ing Hot). The formula for this new version is actually better and easier to apply, I only needed one coat over the base colors for the photos below. So if you have the collab duo, you may feel like you could skip Sweet as Sugar and Hurt Me Once but I think there are enough differences that buying the duo this time around is a decision you won't regret.
